ARCADIA SIT is a partner in the European consortium for the provision of services in the field of GIS and remote sensing, within the DESIS and DIGIT framework contract, the project is developed by JRC - IES - Institute for Environment and Sustainability / Land Management and Natural Hazards Unit.
GRRASP is a platform with a World Wide Web-oriented architecture that brings together geospatial technologies and computational tools for the analysis and simulation of critical infrastructures. Based entirely on open source technologies, the system can be used by EU Member States to facilitate risk and resilience analysis in critical infrastructures. It supports the European Directive on the 'Identification and Designation of European Critical Infrastructure and the Assessment of the Need to Improve their Protection'.
