ARCADIA SIT is a partner in the European consortium for the provision of services in the field of GIS and remote sensing, within the DESIS and DIGIT framework contract, the project is developed by JRC - IES - Institute for Environment and Sustainability / Land Management and Natural Hazards Unit.
The aim of the EVDAB project is to collect and integrate databases relevant for the identification and assessment of urban area vulnerabilities to 'weather driven hazards'. The database focuses on 305 urban areas with the aim of providing innovative spatial indicators to support European policies on climate change, civil protection and risk management.
