Water Management Project

ARCADIA SIT createdthe Consortium's TISproducing the geodatabase and WebGIS system for water management in the agricultural sector. A fundamental requirement of land reclamation consortia is the monitoring of water resources that are used to irrigate fields, managing the water drawing pumps, but also calculating the annual fees that the citizens of the consortium have to pay for the various services.

The implemented system allows consultation of the drainage and irrigation network, queries by name and type, and the monitoring of installations including diversion works. The system is able to dialogue with IOT devices for dynamic and continuous data collection in the field.

The system includes georeferenced information on:

• Canal catalogue (by water flow, toponymy, sections)
• Product catalogue and management (assets and liabilities)
• Pump management (consumption, maintenance)
• Data acquisition (weather, river levels, maintenance, etc.).
• Consultation of cadastral data

Services provided:

• Elevation management of elements (scaled drawings, elevation sections, DTM, etc.).
• Project management (archive, work progress, location, financial reports)
• Report management (maintenance, warnings, damage, etc.).
• Tariff calculation (spatial intersection with indicators for tariff calculation)
• Flow calculation
• Integration with the management software in use at the Consortium
• On-line/off-line data update
